Stanley Plaza Finnish Christmas Wonders in Hong Kong

During the first weekends of December we packed our suitcases with scarves and beanies and flew to Christmassy Hong Kong for a chance to introduce people at the Stanley Plaza Finnish Christmas Wonders Christmas Market to alpaca wool. And as it turned out, not many people were familiar with these furry and gentle animals! Due to this, we were excited to use this unique opportunity to spread awareness of the outstanding qualities of alpaca products as well as receive feedback from a brand-new audience. We were happy to receive so many nice comments about the softness of the wool and the cute design of the beanies!

Hong Kong showed itself as a place bustling with friendly people, endless culinary discoveries, skyscrapers, colours, and to our biggest surprise, vast, lush nature. It was also an enormous pleasure to make acquaintances with Ms. Johanna Karanko, the Consul General of Hong Kong and Macau. Not least thanks to her work, Finland has been able to build a reputation in Hong Kong as a country interested in offering high-quality, environmentally friendly products and experiences. Thanks to this, Cria, together with other Finnish companies and products, was given a very warm welcome.

 Stanley Plaza Christmas Market, located near the renowned Stanley Market on the southern side of the Hong Kong Island, offered Nordic design, food, and beverages resulting in an international, joyful Christmas atmosphere complete with Christmas carols and illuminations, not to forget a chance to take a picture together with a real Moomin character! Who knows, perhaps we should bring one of our alpacas along next year. 😊
